43rd Annual Garrison Day Show & Sale

The John L Baker Art crew setup a booth at this event for the first time this year, and it will not be our last! It is a beautiful event held in the green central parks of Beaver and is one of the community's largest, attracting more than 10,000 visitors each year! It was a wonderful day and we met so many people who are now big fans of John's work! 

Valentour's Family Restaurant & Pub
"Grand re-opening" of The John L. Baker Art Gallery
June 1, 2022

Valentour's Family Restaurant & Pub re-opened at their new location on Thursday, February 17th! We were so excited that they created the perfect area in their dining room to continue displaying John's artwork! The NEW John L Baker Art Gallery was celebrated with a grand re-opening celebration on Wednesday, June 1, 2022!  We had several family and friends come to help us celebrate. Not only do we have the gallery back up and running, but we also created "John L's Showcase" behind the bar at Valentour's! This is a place to feature new pieces as well as sale pieces!  
 

Hickory Apple Festival
October 2nd & 3rd, 2021 

Hickory, PA was the beloved town of John and Nancy. Each year, they hold their annual Apple Festival to support the local fire department. This year, they asked for vendors to setup and it was a huge success! We are so proud to support our local community and fire department, and are honored that the community supported our small business in return! 

 






 




  

St. Clair Hospital Gallery Display

St. Clair Hospital has a gallery space where they feature a certain artists work for a 2 month stance. We were lucky to have secured a spot on their Gallery One wall for the fall of 2021! Below are the prints that are hanging there for this gallery.

Valentour's Family Restaurant
August 20, 2019 

Valentour's Family Restaurant and Pub is owned by relatives of the Baker family, Jon & Elaine Tummino. They gave John his own gallery space within their restaurant! During this event, people came for fantastic food and drinks and left with a new found love of John's work! Some left with a painting or two as well! 



        

39th Annual MVHA Horse Show
Baker Horse Farm
June 9, 2019
The annual MVHA Horse Show is a staple not only in the Baker family, but the surrounding community as well. The club was founded by John decades ago and has ever since, put on a "fun show" at the family farm. People from all over the Tri-State area travel to the Baker Farm on the 2nd Sunday of June every year for the show. JLB Art setup a great booth this year and we even raffled off one of John's pieces "My Buddy".

Sewickley Branch Gallery & Spring Walk
April - June 2019

John L. Baker Art has been selected by Clearview Federal Credit Union, Sewickley Branch, as the featured artist for the 2nd quarter of 2019.  A variety of paintings will be displayed at the Sewickley Branch during business hours in the months of April, May and June.  Anyone interested in seeing John L. Baker paintings in person are encouraged to visit.

Join Sweetwater Center for the Arts and local Sewickley galleries and businesses for a fantastic evening celebrating art and creativity! The Spring Gallery Walk will feature artist receptions and exhibitions showcasing work from local, regional, and national artists.

 Father Ryan Arts Center
McKee's Rocks, PA
November 17th - December 1st, 2018

Father Ryan's Art Center is located in McKees Rocks, PA, very close to where John grew up! We were able to have an art gallery here in the fall of 2018. This was the first ever show for us as an official business trying to get John L's work out to the world! We had a great open house showing and several visitors over the course of the show. We can't wait to go back!
